Fresh (LVMH) seeks a Manager of Regulatory Affairs – China Specialist in Jersey City, NJ. Lead regulatory compliance efforts in the Chinese market with $100k–$140k salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain current knowledge of Chinese regulatory developments and requirements independently and in partnership with LVMH regulatory partners
- Establish and maintain communication protocols between Fresh Regulatory Affairs, LVMH Central Regulatory Affairs, and LVMH China Regulatory Affairs
- Conduct weekly liaison calls with the China regulatory team to ensure alignment and address emerging issues
- Manage product copy review, claim verification, and risk assessment for the Chinese market
- Lead the product naming translation process in coordination with China regulatory specialists
- Review and approve Chinese-language artwork and packaging materials to ensure full compliance with Chinese cosmetics regulations
- Provide regulatory documentation and technical assistance to support pre-market product registrations
- Coordinate the acquisition and maintenance of all China Hygiene Permits for new products and product modifications
- Maintain daily updates to the China project tracking system to ensure accurate status reporting
- Monitor and report on regulatory key performance indicators (KPIs) and compliance metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, biology, pharmacy, or regulatory science (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in regulatory affairs within a highly regulated industry such as cosmetics, food and beverage, or pharmaceuticals
- Demonstrated and substantial experience working with Chinese regulatory requirements and market entry processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin Chinese proficiency is a significant advantage
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels

Minimum 4 years of regulatory affairs experience in a highly regulated industry such as cosmetics, food and beverage, or pharmaceuticals, with substantial and demonstrated experience working specifically with Chinese regulatory requirements and market entry protocols.
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (chemistry, biology, pharmacy, regulatory science, or equivalent) required; Master's degree in a related discipline is a plus.
