Fresh (LVMH) is hiring an Inventory Planning Manager in New York City to lead wholesale forecasting, inventory optimization and retailer collaboration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Drive wholesale inventory strategy to ensure the right products, quantities and timing for key retail partners (Sephora US/CA/MX, Kohl’s), maintaining targeted in‑stock and presence rates.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory metrics (on‑hand, in‑transit, on‑order, WOS, inventory turn, sell‑through) and develop tactical responses to forecast fluctuations.
  • Maintain and optimize SKU‑level assortment planning, RTV projection file and end‑of‑life replenishment rules to minimize liability and maximize productivity.
  • Forecast sales and shipments for launches and innovations; provide input to the Monthly Forecast Review and build bottom‑up shipment assumptions with Key Accounts and Marketing.
  • Own NA order book roll‑up and shipment forecasts; liaise daily with Customer Service, Distribution Center and Global Supply to resolve variances and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Develop and maintain weekly/monthly sales and inventory reporting, build ad hoc models and predictive analytics to support decision making.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with wholesale retail planning teams to capture retailer insight, inform allocation decisions and identify geo‑targeted opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field (required).
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in merchandise planning, retail planning, buying, inventory management or allocation.
  • Demonstrable command of retail math, forecasting methodologies and inventory segmentation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, links) and experience with retail analytics data models.
  • Strong analytical rigor, attention to detail and commercial orientation with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of partnering cross‑functionally and with external retail partners.
  • Capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage competing priorities with a high sense of ownership.

Experience
