FRED Paris seeks Retail Trainer (EMEA) to lead luxury jewellery training programmes. 5+ years retail/luxury sales experience, fluent English required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy complete training modules focused on customer service excellence, brand storytelling, product knowledge, sales techniques, and interpersonal skill development
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and e-learning programmes tailored to diverse learner profiles and organizational levels
- Lead onboarding training for new recruits and provide ongoing coaching and development support to existing teams
- Conduct regular field visits to observe, assess, and mentor retail staff and store managers, identifying gaps and delivering targeted training solutions
- Collaborate with store management to analyse sales performance, identify training needs, and drive commercial growth and conversion improvement
- Support managers in developing coaching competencies and foster a collaborative, stimulating learning environment
- Coordinate training logistics including scheduling, registrations, distribution of materials, attendance tracking, and digital platform management
- Prepare comprehensive training documentation and deliver regular reporting on activities, attendance rates, and participation metrics
- Maintain alignment between learning initiatives and overarching business objectives across the EMEA region
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail training or equivalent role
- Proven experience in sales and the luxury goods sector
- Advanced proficiency in pedagogy, coaching methodologies, and sales techniques
- Demonstrated ability to assess competencies and drive performance outcomes
- Fluent English required for international training delivery
- Excellent communication skills and comfort with public speaking in multicultural environments
- Strong customer service orientation with demonstrated passion for excellence and organizational acumen
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in retail training, coaching, or related learning and development function. Imperative experience in direct sales and the luxury sector. Demonstrated track record of designing and delivering effective training programmes to retail teams.
