FRED — Paris: Retail Trainer (EMEA). Lead retail learning, design and deliver training, and coach store teams across EMEA for the Maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and deploy comprehensive training modules on client service excellence, Maison storytelling, product knowledge, retail selling techniques and interpersonal skills for store teams across the EMEA region.
  • Deliver interactive workshops, seminars and e‑learning sessions adapted to diverse learner profiles; manage onboarding programmes for new hires and continuous development for existing teams.
  • Conduct regular field visits to observe, evaluate and coach sales associates and store managers; provide constructive feedback and implement targeted training interventions.
  • Collaborate with store leadership to analyse sales performance, identify learning needs and align training initiatives with commercial objectives to improve conversion and revenue.
  • Manage logistical and administrative aspects of training: scheduling, invitations, participant tracking, distribution of pre/post materials and reporting on attendance and completion rates.
  • Promote and support adoption of digital learning platforms and internal knowledge‑sharing tools to maintain engagement and disseminate best practices.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in retail training, learning & development or a closely related role, with demonstrable experience in-store selling (luxury retail mandatory).
  • Proven ability to design pedagogically sound training content and to deliver engaging classroom and remote learning.
  • Strong coaching skills, ability to assess competencies and drive performance improvement at individual and store levels.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable speaking in public and working across multicultural teams.
  • Fluent English (required for international training delivery); professional working proficiency in French is strongly advantageous.

Experience
