FRED seeks Retail Operations & Performance Manager EMEA in Paris, France to drive excellence across the luxury jewelry brand's European retail network.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define, deploy, and continuously improve retail processes for front and back office operations, including sales tools, dashboards, and KPI monitoring (conversion, productivity, inventory, customer service)
- Actively participate in retail standards documentation and conduct field training to ensure consistent implementation across the EMEA network
- Optimize merchandise flow management, including receiving, transfers, and inventory procedures; supervise inventory accuracy and implement loss-prevention practices
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards across all retail locations
- Enhance in-store customer journey optimization and oversee specialty retail services including tax-free sales, after-sales service, and fraud prevention
- Drive innovation in customer experience solutions through collaboration with CRM, omnichannel, and digital teams
- Serve as interface between retail operations and cross-functional departments (Finance, IT, Supply Chain, Marketing, HR, Architecture); coordinate boutique maintenance and contribute to retail transformation initiatives (RFID, omnichannel systems, technology tools)
- Lead planning, coordination, and team support for retail store openings, including operational requirement assessment, architecture project timelines, and local training delivery
- Maintain regular field presence to animate retail teams around performance standards, best practices, and brand consistency; partner with training teams to deliver field-level development
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of confirmed retail operations experience, preferably in luxury or fashion sectors
- Demonstrated expertise in project management and omnichannel retail environments
- Advanced mastery of retail operations fundamentals: inventory management, processes, KPI analysis, and internal controls
- Strong analytical and organizational capabilities with capacity to structure complex initiatives
- Natural leadership with ability to federate cross-functional teams and drive alignment
- Entrepreneurial, pragmatic mindset with solutions-oriented approach
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Fluent in French and English (mandatory)
