FRED — Paris: Project Manager, Product Development & Special Orders (CDD). Lead jewellery development projects and bespoke orders from brief to production.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate end‑to‑end product development projects and special orders, acting as central project owner from brief through first‑piece production or final delivery.
  • Ensure all projects meet aesthetic requirements, cost targets, timelines and FRED’s quality standards.
  • Define project plans, establish milestones and govern project meetings and decision points.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary internal and external teams (design, technical, sourcing, workshops, quality) and manage inter‑team communications and escalations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to assess manufacturing risks, define optimal production methods and write technical specifications.
  • Manage documentation and maintain project tracking tools (PLM, ADR), including administrative and budgetary records.
  • Own the workflow for special orders: feasibility assessment, quotation preparation with experts/ purchasing/ ateliers, production follow‑up and client delivery.
  • Consolidate activity KPIs and contribute to the development of the Special Orders module within the PLM system.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in product development project management, preferably within luxury goods or jewellery.
  • Proven experience handling bespoke or special‑order projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder management skills; ability to mobilise multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent organisational rigour, planning skills and simultaneous program management capability.
  • Decisive, adaptable and autonomous with a proactive problem‑solving approach and critical judgement.
  • Clear, professional communicator comfortable liaising with internal teams and external ateliers/suppliers.

Experience
