FRED Paris seeks a Legal Intern for a six-month internship starting January 2027 in its legal department.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts across multiple categories including distribution, commercial partnerships, designer agreements, supply contracts, IT contracts, and intellectual property cessions
  • Participate in contract negotiations as required
  • Manage contract signature processes and maintain contract registry systems
  • Conduct legal research and provide legal consultations
  • Support pre-litigation and litigation matters

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a legal studies programme
  • Strong understanding of French contract law and commercial law principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with multiple contract types simultaneously

Experience

Beginner-level experience or no prior professional legal experience required; recent legal studies coursework or academic preparation sufficient.

Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Law or equivalent legal qualification; specialization in commercial or corporate law preferred.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 900 to EUR 1,300 per month.

Benefits

Monthly stipend of €900–€1,300 gross; one day of remote work per week after three months (subject to manager approval); six days of paid leave; meal vouchers valued at €10 per working day with 60% employer contribution; 50% employer contribution to public transportation pass.
