FRED Paris seeks a Jewelry Quality Controller (CDI) with 3+ years experience. Hybrid role managing quality inspections, supplier compliance, and market operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections during prototype and pre-series phases; prepare and distribute inspection reports to internal teams and suppliers
- Define product-specific quality control criteria in collaboration with the Quality Manager; develop inspection protocols and quality instruction documents
- Serve as primary quality liaison with suppliers and ateliers, guiding adherence to quality standards throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify quality risks and alerts; lead implementation of corrective action plans using structured problem-solving methodologies
- Supervise upstream quality controllers during product manufacturing
- Manage incoming inspection of market-flow pieces and coordinate maintenance and repair workflows across ateliers
- Serve as relay point with dedicated market zones to communicate alerts and urgent issues to central quality and customer service
- Maintain comprehensive documentation; ensure adherence to timelines and deadlines
- Measure supplier quality performance using key performance indicators (KPIs); communicate effectively and regularly with internal teams and external partners

- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in jewelry atelier or jewelry quality control
