Role & Responsibilities
- Conceive and develop fine and high‑jewellery collections consistent with the Maison's creative DNA and design language.
- Lead creative research: storytelling, moodboards, iconographic research and archive exploitation to inform new directions.
- Produce rapid sketches and finished drawings incorporating technical constraints (gemstones, volumes, weight, wearability).
- Prepare final drawings for production (rendered colour drawings, technical drawings with dimensions on Illustrator) and transmit them to manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with the 3D designer to validate volumes, proportions and technical feasibility.
- Act as the interface between the design studio, artistic direction, marketing, product development and freelance designers; organise exchanges and manage deliverables.
- Provide clear, constructive creative and technical feedback to ensure deadlines and quality objectives are met.
- Coordinate and prepare creative-development meetings and presentations for Artistic Direction (new drawings, evolutions, recommendations).
- Manage project follow-up via adapted retro‑plannings, ensure availability of samples and briefs, and escalate risks to studio leadership when necessary.
- Maintain active trend and market watch—attend exhibitions and monitor artistic, cultural and luxury fashion influences to renew creative offering.
Qualifications
- Higher education in jewellery design, product design or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of confirmed experience in jewellery or high‑jewellery design within a Maison or creative studio.
- Excellent mastery of hand sketching and graphic production; Adobe Creative Suite is indispensable.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility, attention to detail and adherence to a coherent creative line.
- Proven ability to work transversally, manage priorities and respect demanding deadlines.
- Rigour, organisational skills, strong teamwork and effective communication.
- Deep sensitivity to the luxury universe and the specific DNA of jewellery Maisons.
