FRED seeks a Jewellery Buyer in Paris (Ile‑de‑France). Permanent full‑time role within LVMH’s Watches & Jewellery division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support product development teams by providing manufacturing cost expertise and proposing appropriate supplier panels.
- Ensure adherence to cost targets defined during development and negotiate manufacturing prices (façon), markups and loss allowances with suppliers.
- Conduct annual renegotiation of manufacturing prices with selected suppliers and maintain up‑to‑date pricing in procurement systems (SAP, purchasing databases).
- Monitor price consistency relative to margin objectives and production data; identify and correct pricing discrepancies.
- Manage billing variances related to manufacturing, metals and diamonds in conjunction with product development and accounting teams.
- Design and implement processes and KPIs to track billing variances, analyse root causes and propose corrective actions to reduce discrepancies.
- Ensure due diligence and compliance: verify application of required processes, obtain and track mandatory supplier documentation via the designated platform and follow up on missing or non‑compliant documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing purchasing; experience in jewellery or watchmaking procurement strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability in cost analysis, supplier negotiation and pricing policy management.
- Strong organisational rigour, autonomy and capacity to manage multiple stakeholders and processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: diplomacy, credibility and ability to build long‑term supplier relationships.
- Fluent English required; Italian is a plus.

Experience
At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in procurement for outsourced production, preferably within jewellery or watchmaking manufacturing.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing purchasing.
