FRED Paris seeks Internal Control and Compliance Officer. Luxury jewelry maison, LVMH Group, permanent role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive internal control frameworks across FRED headquarters, subsidiaries, and shared service centers, identifying key process risks and supporting operational teams in implementing robust daily controls and project-based mechanisms
- Manage internal control documentation including policies, procedures, risk matrices, control matrices, and testing procedures, ensuring continuous updates and effective application across the organization
- Validate access rights requests to sensitive IT systems to ensure proper segregation of duties and mitigate operational risks
- Deploy and oversee operational procedure guidelines for FRED boutiques globally
- Ensure organizational compliance with French Sapin II legislation requirements, including anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, gifts, donations, and conflict of interest management
- Serve as primary liaison between FRED and LVMH Group Internal Control and Compliance Directorates, coordinating the annual ERICA self-assessment campaign, internal audit missions, and action plan implementation
- Coach and support Internal Control and Compliance representatives across subsidiary and shared service center locations
- Conduct employee awareness training, communications, and sensitivity campaigns on internal control and compliance matters
- Oversee annual conflict of interest declaration campaigns and monitor gift registers
- Coordinate external audit missions (Responsible Jewellery Council and others) and track audit findings to resolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Audit or Finance from a business school or university equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience combining Big Four accounting firm background with subsequent corporate experience, preferably in international retail environments
- Demonstrated expertise in internal control framework design and implementation
- Knowledge of SAP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite at an advanced level

Minimum 5 years of professional experience, combining audit or advisory experience in a Big Four or equivalent firm with subsequent corporate experience in an international retail environment; demonstrated success establishing and managing internal control frameworks and regulatory compliance programs across multiple business units.
Education
Master's degree (Bac+5) in Audit, Finance, Management Control, or equivalent from a recognized business school or university.
