FRED (LVMH) Paris: Internal Control and Compliance Officer, CDI full-time role overseeing risk management and SAPIN II compliance across the luxury jewelry maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assess key business processes, identify risks, and support operational teams in implementing robust control mechanisms across daily operations and strategic change initiatives
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of policies, procedures, risk matrices, control frameworks, and testing protocols, ensuring they remain current and effectively implemented
- Validate access requests to sensitive IT systems to guarantee proper segregation of duties and operational security
- Deploy and oversee operational procedure guidelines across FRED retail boutiques globally
- Lead SAPIN II compliance efforts, addressing anti-corruption, anti-money laundering, gift management, conflict of interest protocols, and regulatory transparency
- Serve as liaison with LVMH Group's Internal Control and Compliance divisions, coordinating annual ERICA self-assessment campaigns, internal audit missions, and remediation tracking
- Guide and mentor internal control and compliance contacts across subsidiaries and shared service centers
- Conduct employee awareness campaigns on internal control and compliance through targeted training, communications, and annual conflict of interest declarations; maintain gift register compliance
- Coordinate external audit missions, including Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) assessments, and track audit findings and corrective actions
Qualifications
- Master's degree (Business School or University) with specialization in Audit or Finance, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience combining audit firm background with corporate-side exposure, preferably in retail and international environments
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office suite
- Strong knowledge of SAP systems
- Fluent English language proficiency
- Demonstrated rigour, autonomy, and analytical and synthesis capabilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to propose solutions within constrained operating environments
- Team collaboration orientation
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of combined experience in audit and corporate finance roles, preferably spanning retail and international operations. Prior exposure to both audit firm practice and in-house corporate compliance environments is essential.
Education
Master's degree (Ecole de Commerce, University, or equivalent) with specialization in Audit or Finance.
