FRED (LVMH) seeks Global Head of Events & Experience in Paris. Lead international event strategy, manage premium brand experiences, and drive business impact across markets.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and develop the comprehensive global event and experience strategy in close collaboration with Marketing, Communications, CRM, Retail, and Creative teams
  • Construct and oversee the annual international event calendar, encompassing collection launches, exhibitions, press presentations, galas, exclusive cocktails, and brand activations
  • Direct visual storytelling of brand experiences, ensuring consistency of image and excellence of client experience across all international events in alignment with the maison's aesthetic and values
  • Support overall content strategy by integrating events into global campaign strategies and business objectives
  • Manage and optimize the global event budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and measurable return on investment
  • Drive creative concept development for unique, memorable events capable of captivating demanding international audiences
  • Select exceptional venues, renowned caterers, set designers, artistic talent, and all necessary service providers to ensure flawless execution
  • Supervise all logistical aspects including invitations, VIP guest lists, technical production, security, transportation, and accommodation
  • Develop detailed plans for each event, including timelines, budgets, team allocation, and protocols
  • Lead on-site implementation of all events, ensuring impeccable coordination with local teams and partners
  • Manage contingencies and real-time adjustments with professionalism while maintaining the maison's excellence standards
  • Collaborate closely with the Press Relations team to orchestrate new collection presentations and product launches, maximizing international media coverage
  • Integrate influencer and celebrity activations into event strategy in partnership with Press & Public Relations
  • Work in close partnership with CRM and Retail teams to co-create and deploy exceptional client experiences and activations
  • Lead, mentor, and develop an international Communications/Events team, fostering innovation and excellence
  • Manage relationships with a network of premium service providers and event agencies, negotiate contracts, and ensure service quality
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event and measure the effectiveness of implemented actions
  • Analyze results and produce detailed reports on event ROI, media coverage, participant satisfaction, and improvement opportunities
  • Present comprehensive briefings and strategic recommendations to internal stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience managing international events
  • Proven expertise in conceiving and producing complex, large-scale events (galas, launches, exhibitions, VIP events) for discerning audiences
  • Demonstrated experience in luxury event management and marketing
  • Deep knowledge of luxury codes and standards, as well as client and media expectations in the luxury sector
  • Established network of premium service providers, agencies, and international event partners
  • Fluency in strategic budget management and ROI optimization
