Fred Executive Assistant to General Manager
FRED Japan seeks an Executive Assistant to the General Manager in Tokyo — bilingual English/Japanese role supporting the GM, events and HQ liaison.

Role & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive personal and executive support to the General Manager, managing diary, complex travel itineraries and both professional and private tasks with absolute discretion.
- Respond rapidly to high-priority and urgent requests to enable the GM to focus on strategic matters.
- Act as the English-language liaison to Headquarters and international visitors; provide Japanese↔English translation and interpretation as required.
- Support planning and execution of brand events, including flexible evening hours to ensure exemplary guest experiences.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality analytical reports and presentations using Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Administer purchase orders, invoices and contracts in accordance with LVMH group procedures and internal controls.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between Finance, IT, Legal and other departments to ensure smooth operational workflows.
- Coordinate visitor logistics and occasional travel support for incoming international guests.
Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, preferably within the luxury retail, watch or jewellery sectors.
- Bilingual fluency in Japanese and English (verbal and written) with proven interpretation/translation capability.
- Demonstrable discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with utmost trustworthiness.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and proven ability to produce analytical reports and executive presentations.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills; remains composed under pressure and adapts to shifting priorities.
- Willingness to work late on occasion for events; limited travel required to support visitors.
- University degree or equivalent professional experience.
