FRED in Paris seeks an E‑commerce Manager EMEA (fixed‑term maternity cover) to lead online sales, strategy and operations across the region.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and lead the EMEA e‑commerce strategy in alignment with global teams, translating brand positioning into local commercial plans.
- Own revenue and budget targets for the EMEA online boutique; construct sales objectives and ensure their delivery.
- Monitor business performance through KPIs (conversion, average order value, retention, traffic) and define remedial or growth actions.
- Manage day‑to‑day operation of the online store as a digital point of sale: product availability, orders, fulfilment, returns and service levels.
- Coordinate anti‑fraud prevention and chair the anti‑fraud committee together with Security and Supply teams.
- Optimize stock allocation and assortments in partnership with Supply Chain.
- Act as primary liaison with Customer Service to guarantee an impeccable client experience.
- Drive e‑merchandising and calendar of commercial peaks in coordination with central teams.
- Identify new growth levers (services, payment methods, omnichannel initiatives) and lead digital innovation projects to operational delivery.
- Ensure brand consistency across digital platforms and evaluate new digital distribution opportunities and onboarding.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac +5) from a business school or university or equivalent.
- Minimum three years’ demonstrable experience in e‑commerce and/or e‑merchandising, preferably within luxury retail.
- Strong commercial mindset with solid knowledge of e‑marketing and digital customer acquisition.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Analytical thinker with ability to interpret KPIs and translate insights into action.
- Autonomous, proactive and rigorous with strong coordination and team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and synthesis capabilities.

Experience
Minimum 3 years in e‑commerce, e‑merchandising or digital retail roles, ideally within luxury goods or premium retail environments, with responsibility for P&L or revenue targets.
Education
Master’s degree (Bac +5) from a business school or university, or equivalent.
