FRED Paris seeks Accounts Payable Manager to lead vendor accounting team, manage fixed assets, and oversee financial close processes in luxury jewelry division.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise the complete accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt through payment execution, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor transactions
- Manage vendor dispute resolution in coordination with procurement and operational departments, addressing discrepancies and claims efficiently
- Oversee fixed asset lifecycle management including capitalization, depreciation, amortization schedules, and physical inventory reconciliation with operations teams
- Administer and configure digitalization tools including Esker for invoice processing and Aprovall for vendor master data management, ensuring seamless SAP integration
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes including accruals, provisions, account reconciliations, and balance sheet substantiation
- Manage specialized tax and social compliance filings including Agessa, DAS2, CITEO, and other regulatory declarations
- Supervise expense claims processing via the Notilus platform and ensure adherence to reimbursement policies
- Direct, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, fostering technical competency and process improvement initiatives
- Implement continuous process improvements across the Procure-to-Pay cycle and provide training to accounting staff and operational users on system functionality
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in accounting or financial management
- Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience in either public accounting or corporate finance environments
- Demonstrated prior management experience or supervisory responsibility
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems (SAP MM/FICO preferred) and advanced Excel capabilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of French accounting standards and applicable tax regulations (VAT, corporate taxation)
- Expertise in vendor reconciliation, fixed asset accounting, and financial close procedures
- Fluent professional English required

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting firm environment, with preferred prior exposure to supervisory or team management responsibilities.
Education
Advanced qualification in accounting, financial management, or equivalent discipline from an accredited institution.
