Maison Francis Kurkdjian (LVMH) seeks Visual Merchandising Assistant intern in Paris; 6-month role starting January 2027. Design and retail background required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist retail designers in conceptualizing and developing animative installations, including pop-ups, window displays, and spatial design elements with bespoke customization
- Coordinate the planning, sourcing, and execution of seasonal window installations and pop-ups alongside VM project managers, including on-site supervision and photographic reporting
- Participate in planogram development for new retail locations and support remote installation coordination with photo-based reporting and oversight
- Manage the visual asset database; coordinate campaign image changes with external creative agencies; distribute visuals to global markets; ensure adherence to brand guidelines and proper installation execution
- Conduct competitive analysis and trend monitoring to identify best practices and market opportunities
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a design school, visual merchandising program, or equivalent educational institution
- Proficient in SketchUp, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Demonstrated creative thinking combined with meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take proactive initiative
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Genuine passion for luxury perfumery and high-end retail environments
