Maison Francis Kurkdjian is seeking a Retail Design Architecture Assistant intern to support its International Retail Design team on architectural projects, sketches and 3D designs, project guidelines, technical plans and prototypes. The six-month, full-time internship starts in January 2027 and is based in Paris.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, planning and management of architectural projects.
- Produce project sketches and 3D designs.
- Track projects by creating guidelines, technical plans and prototypes.
- Coordinate with marketing, purchasing, suppliers and markets.
- Monitor and apply the new architecture guidelines.
- Work with the Commercial department to incorporate operational needs from the field and contribute to developing the customer experience.
- Collaborate with Purchasing on calls for tender.
- Coordinate with suppliers on the fabrication of points of sale.
- Liaise with clients, including architects for perfumery chains and department stores, as well as creative agencies and freelancers.
Qualifications
- Education in architecture or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
- AutoCAD proficiency is required.
- Strong artistic sensibility.
- Curiosity and ongoing monitoring of creative work and trends in the profession.
- Fluent English.
- KeyShot proficiency is a plus.
