Finance Business Analyst at Maison Francis Kurkdjian, New York. VIE hybrid role supporting financial operations and analysis for luxury perfumery.
Role & Responsibilities
- Build weekly, monthly, and rolling forecasts on sell-out and sell-in for wholesale and own boutiques, integrating inventory into a complete SISO (Sales In/Sell Out) view
- Analyze sell-out performance by retailer, reference, and classification, identifying optimization opportunities and inventory liabilities
- Conduct like-for-like analysis of sell-out and sell-in trends to assess comparable period performance
- Support quarterly budget planning and sell-in forecasting cycles in collaboration with the sales team
- Assist with monthly P&L closings and prepare analytical reports for YTD and YTG perspectives
- Manage budgeting and expenditure tracking for capital and project-based investments
- Coordinate and track weekly EDI order shipments and logistics reporting
- Develop automated reports and analytical tools to support management decision-making and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance, preferably within luxury, fragrance, beauty, or prestige consumer goods
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and other complex formulas
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities with financial modeling experience
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis
- Knowledge of corporate finance, investment evaluation, and risk management highly desirable

Minimum 3 years of professional experience in finance, preferably within the prestige fragrance, beauty, or luxury goods industry. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of performing complex financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting in fast-paced, multi-channel retail or wholesale environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline. Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Accounting is preferred.
