Maison Francis Kurkdjian (LVMH) seeks ESG Assistant Intern in Paris to manage sustainability data and environmental reporting for 6-month internship starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect, process, and analyze environmental data including carbon footprints, greenhouse gas emissions, water footprints, and biodiversity metrics
- Manage carbon data collection and treatment in direct coordination with external carbon consultants
- Support non-financial reporting (CSRD) with emphasis on raw materials data management and analysis
- Conduct life cycle assessment (LCA) simulations to support eco-design projects and decarbonization efforts
- Execute responsible procurement audits by collecting supplier certifications, verifying credentials, and performing annual reporting against LVMH objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Marketing, Packaging Development, Merchandising, Architecture, Supply Chain, and Finance teams
- Participate in the Colibri RSE engagement committee to promote sustainability objectives and communication
- Prepare analytical deliverables including regulatory monitoring, competitive benchmarking, stakeholder analysis, and ad-hoc reports
- Present findings and mission results to internal teams, ensuring transparency and departmental collaboration
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a degree program focused on Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Energy Transition, Carbon Management, Eco-Design, Circular Economy, or Data Management
- Strong data exploration and analysis capabilities with demonstrated ability to derive meaningful insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel skills required
- Proactive mindset with demonstrated ability to understand organizational dynamics and independently source required data
- Proven adaptability and capacity to manage concurrent priorities with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated collaboration and transparency in team environments
- English proficiency for presentations (daily English not required)
- Ideally, prior experience with Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and environmental audits
