Boutique Manager position at Maison Francis Kurkdjian in Costa Mesa, California; lead sales, operations, and team management for luxury fragrance boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage execution of sales activities to meet and exceed monthly, seasonal, and annual sales and IPT goals, holding team accountable to targets
- Complete weekly business recaps for Account Executive and Sales Director team
- Plan, organize, staff, and execute special events in partnership with Senior Regional Account Executive and Training Manager
- Maintain luxurious brand image through monitoring product merchandising, staff presentation, counter cleanliness, and overall boutique organization
- Supply boutique staff with tools and knowledge for daily business success, including smart sampling techniques, wrapping ceremonies, and gifting practices
- Monitor business performance and analyze results to identify growth opportunities and CRM potential, communicating insights to regional leadership
- Maintain exceptional customer relations by providing outstanding service and ensuring client integration into CRM system with proper team follow-up
- Track daily business activity including sales, samples, and stock; monitor sales diversification to improve underperforming product categories
- Develop professional expertise in MFK business procedures, product knowledge, and selling efficiency
- Utilize MFK Backstage training app consistently, ensuring completion of all required courses at 100%
- Manage store alarm calls and oversee maintenance and contract worker access prior to store opening
- Execute operational management responsibilities including monthly/quarterly boutique inventory, quarterly visual change-outs, monthly staff scheduling, and daily POS management
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of prestige beauty, fragrance, and/or skincare sales and management experience in a boutique or freestanding store environment
- Prior experience as Business Manager, Sales, and/or Training role
- Passionate about Maison Francis Kurkdjian brand and its values
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and build high-performing, collaborative teams
- Strong analytical skills and resourcefulness for proactive problem-solving
- Ability to understand and maintain business confidentiality
- Strong networking and partnership-building skills across relevant levels
