Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct ongoing market research, competitor analysis, and trend forecasting focusing on color, texture, packaging, and ingredient innovation
  • Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and social listening to identify unmet consumer needs and white-space opportunities
  • Define product positioning, target audience, key benefits, and unique selling propositions for assigned categories
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from ideation and concept validation through launch and post-launch performance review
  • Provide expert input on shade ranges, formulas, textures, and sensory experience based on category expertise
  • Partner with global product operations teams to ensure timely delivery and cross-functional coordination
  • Collaborate on go-to-market strategies, messaging, and promotional plans with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Manage product development timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
  • Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost structure while maintaining quality and brand standards
  • Monitor post-launch KPIs including sell-through rates, repeat purchase behavior, and customer reviews; recommend product improvements or phase-outs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • Minimum 2–5 years of product marketing experience
  • Makeup industry experience or demonstrated heavy makeup user preferred
  • Keen eye for color, design, and beauty trends
  • Active user of social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Fluent in English
