Fendi in Singapore seeks a Visual Merchandising Manager, Southeast Asia & Australia to lead VM strategy, window displays and a regional team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the Visual Merchandising strategy across Southeast Asia & Australia, ensuring full alignment with global brand directives and local market priorities.
- Oversee conception, production and installation of window displays, in-store installations, props and special projects that reflect the maison’s image and commercial objectives.
- Collaborate closely with HQ Visual Merchandising to develop and roll out VM guidelines, seasonal concepts, new store openings and special activations.
- Source and manage vendors for fabrication of windows, fixtures and props; supervise logistics, invoicing and timely supplier payments.
- Plan and administer the Visual Merchandising budget, forecasting costs and optimising spend across the zone.
- Prepare store layouts, technical plans and window measurements; produce simulations, renderings and technical specifications for execution.
- Coordinate with communications and merchandising teams on image production (lightboxes, posters) and hardware updates.
- Design, produce and deliver training materials; lead, coach and develop country VM teams to raise standards and ensure consistent execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in visual merchandising with at least 5 years in a managerial or regional role.
- Diploma in Art, Visual Communication, Design or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrable creative flair combined with strong commercial awareness and analytical attention to detail.
- Proven leadership capability: ability to motivate, coach and develop cross‑functional teams across multiple markets.
- Excellent organisational skills, reliability and strong follow‑through on projects and budgets.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to liaise effectively with HQ, retail, merchandising and external suppliers.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
