Role & Responsibilities

  • Absorb, filter, and implement worldwide visual merchandising guidelines with clear instruction delivery to VM ambassadors prior to each rotation cycle
  • Serve as strategic business partner to stores, executing VM strategy based on individual store specifications including sales trends, inventory levels, retail capacity, and clientele profiles
  • Submit comprehensive, high-standard visual merchandising reports autonomously and consistently
  • Coach and develop in-store VM ambassadors through daily communication, detailed feedback, merchandising workshops, and store visits to sustain execution quality and elevate fashion sensibility, zoning strategy, props utilization, and product knowledge
  • Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to understand product strategy and co-lead VM workshops, providing qualitative feedback to peers
  • Manage visual merchandising props inventory, including regular replenishment ordering and organization of VM-related elements for store openings
  • Cultivate clear interpersonal communication with store managers, VM ambassadors, logistics departments, and appointed suppliers to ensure operational fluidity
  • Maintain constant dialogue with store leadership and in-store VM ambassadors to ensure strategy alignment based on local market specificity
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in VM maintenance, including in-store displays, window presentations, and product positioning (bag straps, shoe laces, price tags, product alignment)
  • Maintain transparent props inventory database management aligned with budgetary constraints and operational efficiency
  • Provide constructive feedback to the VM Director and headquarters based on local market needs and observations
  • Execute implementation of directives with speed and precision

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of visual merchandising and retail experience
  • Bachelor's degree in fashion, design, art, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated excellence in product display and visual composition
  • Exceptional organizational and project management capabilities
  • Superior interpersonal communication and stakeholder management
  • Strong fashion sensibility and trend awareness
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
