Fendi in Barcelona seeks a Store Operations Manager to oversee back‑of‑house operations, facilities, inventory and security for its boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure day‑to‑day back‑of‑house operations comply with company guidelines and store standards.
- Operate and manage the Retail Pro Management system for stock arrivals, transfers and payments.
- Plan, coordinate and supervise facilities maintenance, including lighting, electrical systems, fixtures and repairs.
- Maintain organisation and standards across stock rooms, maintenance areas, alterations, restrooms and holding areas.
- Serve as primary liaison with subcontractors and vendors, verifying workmanship and store conditions.
- Control store expenses and ensure accurate financial records, including petty cash and cash/credit processing procedures.
- Manage, facilitate and guarantee completion of inventories and cycle counts; oversee shipments, transfers and consignments.
- Collaborate with Legal and Loss Prevention on physical security, risk mitigation, cash controls and audits.
- Administer after‑sales service records and follow‑up on repairs; ensure availability of packaging, stationery and CRM materials.
- Train new joiners on back‑office procedures, POS usage and scheduling; ensure associates comply with HR and POS policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum seven years' experience in fashion/luxury retail back‑of‑house operations with at least three years in a managerial role.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven administration and financial control skills; experience managing store budgets and petty cash.
- Strong analytical, organisational and communication abilities with demonstrated leadership and resilience.
- Excellent relationship management and vendor liaison skills; goal‑oriented with strong multitasking capability.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.

At least seven years of experience in fashion or luxury retail back‑of‑house operations, including a minimum of three years in a managerial capacity overseeing inventory, facilities, security and logistics.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
