Role & Responsibilities

  • Own overall store performance and accountability for P&L, controllable expenses, sales plan and inventory management.
  • Drive sales growth across product categories through analysis, action plans and collaboration with corporate merchandising and retail teams.
  • Develop and implement local sales strategies, clienteling programmes and events to acquire new clients and reactivate former clients.
  • Lead and coach the sales team on client service standards, mystery shop improvements, private appointments and VIP relationship management.
  • Ensure optimal stock and assortment levels in partnership with merchandising; maintain cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
  • Manage all administrative and operational duties including scheduling, reporting, cost controls and compliance with company policies.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure bestsellers are consistently merchandised on the sales floor.
  • Recruit, develop and retain talent through performance management, succession planning and training needs assessment.
  • Partner with Retail Events and corporate teams to deliver local activations and incentives that support business objectives.
  • Ensure health, safety and loss‑prevention protocols are implemented and followed by the team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ related retail experience; 10+ years’ progressive retail leadership experience preferred, luxury retail strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing store P&L.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; strong drive for results.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management functions; experience with CRM tools and clienteling.
  • Organisational aptitude and strong digital literacy.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays; ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
  • RTW (ready‑to‑wear) retail experience preferred; foreign language skills are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and motivate a collaborative team.

Experience
