Store Manager position at Fendi's Hudson Yards boutique in New York. Lead team, drive sales, manage operations—luxury retail leadership role.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive and increase sales performance across all product categories while developing comprehensive sales strategies in collaboration with corporate partners
- Lead and inspire a diverse team through goal-setting, performance monitoring, and mentoring to foster career growth and internal advancement
- Develop and cultivate a dedicated customer base through CRM tools and implementation, with particular focus on VIP clientele and private appointment culture
- Oversee all administrative and operational functions including inventory management, cycle counts, shrink control, and full profit and loss responsibility
- Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure optimal stock and assortment levels in partnership with the merchandising team
- Develop and execute local events and incentives in collaboration with the Retail Events team to strengthen customer relationships
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety protocols, and all procedural requirements while managing staff scheduling and store coverage
- Monitor Mystery Shop results and implement action plans to continuously enhance customer service quality and brand representation
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury retail management
- Strong proficiency with POS systems and inventory management functions
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve sales targets through strategic planning and execution
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Experience in Ready-to-Wear (RTW) product categories preferred
- Organizational abilities and strong digital literacy required
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Flexibility to accommodate varying work schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of related experience in luxury retail environments, with demonstrated success in driving sales performance and managing store operations. Ready-to-Wear (RTW) category experience is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred.
