Fendi seeks a Store Manager in Madrid to lead store performance, clienteling and team management for its Madrid boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver store performance against sales targets and KPI metrics; analyse results and implement action plans to improve business across product categories.
  • Lead the sales floor by example—support the selling process, promote cross‑selling and ensure exceptional client experience.
  • Develop and maintain a loyal client base through proactive clienteling, CRM initiatives and in‑store events; act as brand ambassador for VIP relationships.
  • Recruit, coach and mentor the store team; set individual and team targets, conduct regular performance reviews and daily coaching to maximise productivity.
  • Manage daily store operations including staffing rosters, stock procedures, back‑office administration and compliance with company operating standards.
  • Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are consistently applied and aligned with sales performance.
  • Conduct daily briefs and animate the team board; monitor Mystery Shopper outcomes and deploy corrective action plans.
  • Control store costs and ensure efficient operation while reporting sales and operational metrics to regional management.

Qualifications

  • More than 10 years’ experience in a managerial role, preferably within luxury retail.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Fluent English (mandatory); additional languages are an advantage.
  • Proven leadership with excellent communication, client service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen, administration and financial skills.
  • Demonstrable knowledge or keen interest in fashion and luxury product categories.
