Fendi seeks an experienced Store Manager in Beijing to lead sales, team development, and client relations in a luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Reflect corporate image and Brand DNA across all store operations, maintaining alignment with Fendi standards and guidelines
- Drive overall sales performance optimization through continuous elevation of customer service standards and systematic development of team product knowledge and selling capabilities
- Monitor team sales performance against established KPIs and collaborate with the Retail Manager to establish and implement targeted action plans for sales improvement
- Analyze market context, competitive landscape, and emerging trends to identify business opportunities and initiatives aligned with company objectives
- Maintain exceptional customer relationships and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction across all sales interactions and critical situations
- Manage customer claims and complaints with professionalism, serving as the escalation point for resolution of complex customer issues
- Expand the network of external relations and cultivate relationships with prestigious clientele and VIP customers to drive loyalty and repeat business
- Actively participate in store team recruitment, selection, and talent development, collaborating with HR to identify market-aligned candidates
- Create a motivated, cohesive team environment through coordinated activities, clear communication, and demonstrated commitment to professional growth
- Oversee store staff training programs, ensuring team members remain current with luxury industry trends and product knowledge
- Communicate quantitative and qualitative targets to the store team and drive accountability for achievement through monthly performance reviews and regular touchpoints
- Coordinate Assistant Store Manager to optimize shift planning and ensure adequate resource allocation for workload management
- Ensure daily opening procedures comply with visual merchandising and maintenance guidelines, including product presentation, visual installations, and retail space organization
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to communicate key messages, priorities, and store performance metrics to the team
- Enforce all labor laws, sales regulations, and internal Fendi procedures with support from headquarters
- Manage administrative and accounting responsibilities while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures
- Oversee visual merchandising practices and standards, ensuring store windows, displays, and product presentation align with corporate guidelines
- Monitor inventory management and sales trends, communicating slow-moving items to visual merchandising, buying, and retail management teams
- Implement theft prevention measures and security protocols, maintaining store safety and loss prevention standards
- Manage stockroom operations in coordination with the Stock Manager, ensuring alignment with sales potential and company objectives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail store management or equivalent leadership role
- Demonstrated excellence in sales performance management and achievement of quantitative targets
- Strong capability in team recruitment, training, and performance management
- Excellent understanding of luxury brand positioning and customer service standards
- Proficiency in retail operations, inventory management, and administrative procedures
- Ability to analyze market trends and identify business development opportunities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multiple stakeholder groups
Skills
Experience
Significant experience in luxury retail management or comparable leadership capacity within a high-end retail environment, with demonstrated success in driving sales performance, managing teams, and maintaining premium brand standards.
Education
Secondary education minimum; further education in business management, retail operations, or related disciplines is advantageous.
