Stockist role at Fendi's 57th Street store in New York—manage inventory, shipping, and retail operations. $25/hr plus commission.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ship and receive transfers and client merchandise with precision and attention to detail
- Prepare merchandise for shipping, ensuring accurate packaging and wrapping to company standards
- Supervise UPS logs and track packages throughout the shipping process
- Arrange hand deliveries and coordinate delivery logistics
- Report damaged merchandise to management and initiate appropriate remediation
- Organize merchandise in the stock area to maintain top-tier store standards
- Ensure all merchandise is accurately ticketed and secured according to company policy
- Prepare merchandise for in-store allocation and floor placement
- Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies with store leadership
- Maintain inventory-readiness status of the store at all times
- Build and maintain the Inventory Adjustment Form (IAF) documentation
- Process incoming repairs and submit claim paperwork to Corporate
- Proactively connect with clients to facilitate merchandise returns during the repair cycle
- Order supplies for store operations and maintain adequate stock levels
- Support store maintenance regarding facilities, fixtures, and operational needs
- Clean sales floors and stock areas to uphold luxury retail standards
- Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines and protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–4 years of professional experience in retail or customer experience settings; luxury retail experience strongly preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated stock control and selling experience
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Driven approach to achieving results and meeting operational targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within team environments
- Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management functions
- Physical capability to lift boxes and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds
- Flexible availability, including some evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Foreign language skills preferred
