Fendi seeks an experienced Stitching Operator Shoes in Fermo, Italy for precision footwear assembly and seaming in prototyping and sampling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute stitching and assembly of uppers and other shoe components for prototype development, interpreting technical drawings and design specifications in close coordination with pattern makers
- Produce collection samples with high precision and meticulous attention to detail, adhering to established quality standards and delivery timelines
- Ensure flawless execution of seams and assembly of diverse materials including leather, textiles, and semi-finished components
- Maintain quality standards and ensure reproducibility of sample production across multiple units
- Conduct quality inspections of completed work, identifying and correcting defects proactively
Qualifications
- Proven experience in shoe prototyping, sampling, or production environments
- Proficiency operating industrial sewing machines including flatbed, column, and arm machines, plus specialised seaming equipment
- Exceptional manual dexterity and precision in stitching leather and diverse materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and product specifications
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-driven orientation
