Fendi Senior Supply Chain and Logistics Manager in Shanghai, Greater China—oversee inventory, distribution, and supply planning for retail operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage product distribution across defined store clusters in partnership with merchandising, ensuring launch plans and event strategies align with optimum stock levels
  • Monitor and execute weekly inventory adjustments, stock transfers, and stock rebalancing across the China region and retail locations
  • Establish and track KPIs (availability rate, sell-through, weeks of stock holding) to optimize inventory for store clusters and sales trends; generate weekly and monthly reports for retail, merchandising, and store teams
  • Liaise with headquarters and logistics on stock reception and coordinate distribution of new incoming product
  • Define target stock levels by SKU for designated programs (-1+1), monitor actual sales versus target performance, and update target stock levels accordingly
  • Conduct stock build-up activities in preparation for peak traffic periods
  • Collaborate with merchandising to determine assortment plans and new product launch requirements; coordinate with HQ on distribution planning and visibility reporting
  • Review seasonal and permanent item inventory on a regular basis, anticipating demand based on historical data, sales trends, merchandising vision, advertising campaigns, and store feedback
  • Partner with merchandising on reordering strategies for seasonal items based on sell-through performance and business needs
  • Coordinate with finance to review pricing files before seasonal launches, ensuring pricing coherence between new and existing SKUs
  • Lead markdown management processes with the merchandising team, including network strategy, stock reviews, rebalancing, and price list coordination to maximize sell-through and profitability
  • Liaise with finance and logistics on buy-back proposals and manage barderie stock allocation, planning, and distribution
  • Partner with merchandising on end-of-life and product discontinuation reviews to manage remaining stock levels and implement action plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain management, merchandising, planning, or retail experience
  • Finance or retail industry experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Access and Excel) and ability to manage new enterprise systems
  • Strong process management and quantitative analytical capabilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work across functional areas and organizational levels
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills with ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal communication abilities and openness to working across different cultures
