Role & Responsibilities

  • Define Woman SLG and Leather Goods Accessories corporate strategy by product lines and functionalities to drive business objectives
  • Set sales forecasts by product lines and segments aligned with category business ambitions
  • Establish central buying vision, core assortment, and strategic buying guidelines stratified by store clusters
  • Formulate merchandising strategies and coordinate editing and buying activities during showroom periods for all regions, including order validation
  • Support implementation of merchandising strategies and drive launch plans; identify growth opportunities and develop quantitative business plans with animation activities
  • Conduct regular sales analysis (weekly and monthly) by product category and region to inform strategic actions and budget planning
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to develop permanent sales vision and optimize stock management globally
  • Partner closely with Collection Merchandising teams to ensure collections align with strategic vision and sales targets
  • Perform comprehensive market analysis to identify requirements and sales trends across styles, models, functions, price ranges, and competitive landscape; communicate structured feedback to Product Managers
  • Elevate Woman LG category expertise across both buying and retail teams
  • Develop and implement sustainable design strategies for products

Qualifications

  • University degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Retail Merchandiser or Buyer in the Leather Goods category
  • Excellent merchandising and strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proven analytical capabilities demonstrated through prior professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Understanding of current market trends and buying psychology
  • Fluency in English
  • Comprehensive knowledge of key players in the Leather Goods business with strong luxury sensibility and product intuition
