Fendi seeks Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis in New York. Lead FP&A activities, budgeting, and strategic financial analysis for luxury fashion group.
Role & Responsibilities
- Preserve the consistency of all reporting cycles by coordinating with local accounting teams and headquarters functions to ensure timely and accurate submission of financial statements
- Lead recurring budgeting and planning processes with proper reporting and variance analysis
- Guarantee compliance with Group policies and principles regarding financial matters
- Support management with comprehensive analyses and reports to monitor financial and business trends, highlighting potential risks and opportunities
- Ensure financial soundness of initiatives and projects by tracking alignment of actual expenditure to plan for both operating and capital budgets
- Produce cash flow forecasts in partnership with management to identify funding requirements
- Develop profitability analyses for new projects and track actual returns on investment against Group guidelines
- Support the CFO in presenting financial operating models and delivery trends to board audit and finance committees
- Provide strategic guidance on development of the IT application portfolio for financial analysis
- Partner continuously with department heads to identify trends, highlight potential issues and opportunities, and track financial efficiency and effectiveness of implemented actions
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with accounting and reporting systems
- Experience in complex international environments
- Bachelor's degree minimum; CPA and/or MBA preferred
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software
- Knowledge and understanding of retail industry dynamics
- Demonstrated integrity, credibility, and commitment to corporate strategy

Experience
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis within international environments, with demonstrated capability to manage strict deadlines and complex financial reporting cycles in a luxury retail or fashion context.
Education
Bachelor's degree required; CPA certification and/or MBA preferred.
