Fendi seeks a temporary Retail Merchandiser for men's categories in Rome to drive sales and assortment strategy during maternity cover.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the definition of central buying vision and establish core assortment and buying guidelines for men's categories
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform and influence buying decisions in strategic meetings
- Prepare and deliver weekly, seasonal, and ad hoc reports that summarize key performance drivers and propose necessary trading actions
- Build collaborative relationships across Visual Merchandising, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams
- Actively manage supply chain continuity for men's category products
- Manage departmental open-to-buy (OTB), monitor in-season trading, and identify risks and commercial opportunities
- Participate in and support all activities related to buying campaigns
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in retail merchandising
- University degree in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Fluent in English
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proven capacity to thrive in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment
- Positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic

Experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in retail merchandising within the luxury fashion or wholesale sectors, with demonstrated proficiency in buying analysis, assortment planning, and multi-department collaboration.
Education
University degree in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related quantitative or business discipline.
