Fendi seeks a temporary Retail Merchandiser for men's categories in Rome to drive sales and assortment strategy during maternity cover.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the definition of central buying vision and establish core assortment and buying guidelines for men's categories
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform and influence buying decisions in strategic meetings
  • Prepare and deliver weekly, seasonal, and ad hoc reports that summarize key performance drivers and propose necessary trading actions
  • Build collaborative relationships across Visual Merchandising, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams
  • Actively manage supply chain continuity for men's category products
  • Manage departmental open-to-buy (OTB), monitor in-season trading, and identify risks and commercial opportunities
  • Participate in and support all activities related to buying campaigns

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in retail merchandising
  • University degree in Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong numerical and analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Proven capacity to thrive in a rapidly evolving and fast-paced environment
  • Positive, proactive attitude and strong work ethic
