Fendi Retail Manager in Bangkok, Thailand — oversee multi-store operations, lead high-performing teams, and drive sales in luxury retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Meet weekly with store managers to develop systems to achieve sales and profitability goals
- Analyze current business trends and identify opportunities for improvement and competitive advantage
- Monitor planned headcounts according to business trends and scheduling requirements
- Suggest and implement events and promotions aligned with market trends
- Partner with store management teams to establish sales and productivity goals utilising current business intelligence
- Develop store management role models embodying Fendi service behaviour and brand values
- Train store management teams in staff evaluation, development planning, and performance coaching
- Communicate merchandising opportunities related to stock replenishment and seasonal sell-thru initiatives
- Oversee monthly cycle count procedures across all locations and manage stock adjustments
- Ensure all stores maintain operational standards and follow up on facility maintenance issues
- Collaborate with store managers to adapt floor sets based on business trends and Fendi HQ direction
- Conduct weekly floor walkthroughs with supervisors to review visual merchandising compliance
- Perform bi-monthly training sessions for each store covering product knowledge, newness, and customer service
- Set and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance goals for staff (sales, OTO, PKB targets)
- Conduct daily briefings twice per day and weekly performance reviews with store management
- Identify development opportunities for staff and provide consistent coaching and feedback
- Implement weekly one-on-one touchbases between management and staff to highlight performance and opportunities
- Manage smart scheduling and force ranking of staff to ensure top performers are scheduled during peak trading periods
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in retail or luxury industry
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong commercial and customer service mindset
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and networking skills
- Ability to generate trust among both coworkers and clients
- Strong business acumen with result-driven and goal-oriented approach
- Capacity to implement strategic initiatives and demonstrate commercial creativity
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM systems and retail management tools
