Fendi seeks a Retail Excellence & Training Director in Singapore to lead retail operations and learning across Southeast Asia & Australia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define, analyze and challenge regional retail KPIs to drive operational efficiency and commercial performance across Southeast Asia & Australia.
- Partner with country retail heads and store leadership to set targets, develop bespoke action plans for key doors and boutiques, and monitor execution against WW Retail Excellence guidelines.
- Leverage sales and operational data to identify trends, prioritize opportunities and deliver performance dashboards and reporting to regional leadership.
- Collaborate with CRM and Merchandising to design and implement clienteling initiatives, retail activations and go‑to‑market plans that convert into measurable sales uplift.
- Oversee regional retail operations including inventory flows, stock accuracy, store organisation and logistics to optimise working capital and customer service levels.
- Coordinate with Internal Control to ensure retail compliance and audit readiness; review and follow up on corrective actions.
- Lead review and delivery of local store projects (expansions, renovations) to maximise back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house efficiency.
- Design, implement and champion retail training, coaching methodologies and learning tools to elevate selling skills and the Fendi client journey across the network.
- Manage and develop a regional team encompassing Retail Operations, Retail Training and country Retail Excellence functions; report directly to the President, Southeast Asia & Australia.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive retail experience with demonstrable responsibility for retail performance and operations; luxury fashion or beauty retail background highly desirable.
- Proven leadership capability with experience managing regional or multi‑market teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial acumen with hands‑on experience in P&L management, KPI setting and action planning.
- Advanced analytical aptitude with the ability to translate data into pragmatic operational plans.
- Excellent communication, presentation and project‑management skills; ability to drive cross‑functional alignment.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, resilient work ethic and a passion for retail excellence and client experience.

Experience
At least 10 years of relevant retail experience with a strong operations background; prior leadership in luxury fashion or beauty retail preferred, including regional or multi‑market responsibility.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, Commerce or a related field; advanced degree or executive education in management preferred.
