Fendi seeks an experienced Modelist in Florence to develop leather goods using CAD and lead the design process from concept to finished product.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed product models using CAD software with precise technical specifications
- Review and refine product models to ensure accuracy and alignment with design intent
- Interpret creative direction from the style office, accounting for construction methods and material applications
- Oversee prototype development and provide technical guidance throughout the manufacturing process
- Collaborate with product development and prototyping teams to gather and implement critical product information
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience as a modelist or equivalent leather goods design role
- Advanced proficiency in Aimpes CAD software
- Comprehensive knowledge of leather goods product development processes
- Exceptional attention to detail and inherent understanding of luxury craftsmanship standards
- Strong interpersonal and team collaboration skills
