Fendi in Rome seeks a Merchandising Intern — RTW & Fur to support competitive analysis, showroom and e‑commerce coordination (internship, on-site).
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct rigorous competitive analyses on market trends, assortment and pricing to inform collection briefings and assortment decisions.
- Support showroom activities, prepare buying tools, assist in post-buying debriefs and maintain catalogue updates in coordination with product development teams.
- Coordinate e‑commerce and press-related activities including photoshoot organisation, product briefings and preparation of product descriptions.
- Manage sample logistics and tracking in collaboration with logistics and press teams, ensuring timely availability and accurate follow-up.
- Lead and coordinate the fur upcycling project with design, development, retail and sustainability stakeholders to deliver defined objectives.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Business or Fashion Management programme.
- Strong product sensitivity and demonstrable knowledge of the fashion and luxury sectors.
- Rigorous, curious and highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
- Autonomous, proactive and adaptable with excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Previous experience or internships in luxury RTW or merchandising is a plus.

Experience
Entry-level / beginner: suitable for candidates with academic training in business or fashion management. Prior internships or coursework in luxury merchandising, RTW or product development are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Business or Fashion Management school background (current enrolment or recent graduate).
