Fendi Merchandising Intern, Rome — support retail product strategy, assortment planning, and inventory optimization in this 3-6 month internship.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with zone teams to define and curate product packages aligned with brand vision and market demands
  • Distribute products across store clusters while maintaining optimal stock levels and availability for both seasonal and timeless collections
  • Monitor and control Target Stock Level (TSL), depth, and sell-through metrics to ensure optimal product mix in stores
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to inform assortment and allocation decisions
  • Support the development of phasing-out strategies for current collections and launch protocols for new offerings
  • Work cross-functionally with Local Retail Merchandising Teams, Visual Merchandising, Collection Merchandising, Go To Market, and Supply Chain departments
  • Contribute to structuring how buying inputs are interpreted and translated into actionable recommendations for headquarters and regional teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
  • Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of retail merchandising strategies and leather goods category dynamics
  • Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills
