Fendi Merchandising Intern, Rome — support retail product strategy, assortment planning, and inventory optimization in this 3-6 month internship.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with zone teams to define and curate product packages aligned with brand vision and market demands
- Distribute products across store clusters while maintaining optimal stock levels and availability for both seasonal and timeless collections
- Monitor and control Target Stock Level (TSL), depth, and sell-through metrics to ensure optimal product mix in stores
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform assortment and allocation decisions
- Support the development of phasing-out strategies for current collections and launch protocols for new offerings
- Work cross-functionally with Local Retail Merchandising Teams, Visual Merchandising, Collection Merchandising, Go To Market, and Supply Chain departments
- Contribute to structuring how buying inputs are interpreted and translated into actionable recommendations for headquarters and regional teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of retail merchandising strategies and leather goods category dynamics
- Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning skills

Experience
Entry-level or beginner experience in fashion retail, merchandising, or supply chain operations preferred; prior exposure to luxury goods merchandising or inventory systems is advantageous but not required.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position is EUR 800 per month.
