Fendi Legal Manager in Rome, Italy. Full-time hybrid role managing corporate governance, compliance, and multi-jurisdictional legal support for Asia-Pacific retail operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the full corporate governance lifecycle of the Italian holding company and Italian subsidiaries, including preparation and follow-up of shareholders' and Board meetings
  • Draft, review and manage powers of attorney and delegation of authorities in alignment with corporate governance frameworks and internal authorization matrices
  • Serve as primary legal point of contact for Fendi's retail entities in Japan, Greater China, Korea, and Southeast Asia and Australia, coordinating with LVMH's local legal teams
  • Advise on day-to-day retail legal matters including store operations, sales and after-sales terms, promotional initiatives, and consumer protection considerations
  • Manage legal aspects of facility and real estate contracts for retail locations, negotiating lease agreements with landlords
  • Support compliance implementation and rollout of Fendi's global compliance program across all retail entities
  • Contribute to compliance initiatives in anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, international sanctions, conflicts of interest, third-party due diligence, and supply chain monitoring
  • Provide legal support to Fendi HQ's corporate departments including Procurement, HR, Facility, and Finance on contractual matters and general legal advice
  • Support the Health and Safety function on workplace health and safety regulatory compliance and contractual arrangements
  • Participate in compliance risk assessments, audits, and monitoring activities, and contribute to reporting on compliance program effectiveness

Qualifications

  • Law degree; qualification as a licensed attorney (Avvocato or equivalent) preferred
  • Approximately 8–10 years of post-qualification legal experience
  • Prior experience in corporate governance from an Italian law perspective
  • Demonstrated expertise in ethics and compliance matters
  • Demonstrated expertise in business law with a focus on luxury retail
  • Excellent written and spoken command of English and Italian
  • Ability to work effectively in international, cross-cultural, and matrixed environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing broad and varied portfolios of legal matters simultaneously
  • Prior experience in the luxury retail sector considered a strong preferential asset

Experience
