Based in Bagno a Ripoli, near Florence, the Leather Goods Model Maker supports bag development from initial concept through to finished product. The role covers CAD modeling, product model checks and corrections, leather goods prototype development, and collaboration with product development and prototyping teams. Permanent, full-time position governed by the CCNL Pelli e Succedanei; the initial annual gross salary for new joiners in Italy is EUR 30,593, with actual pay subject to experience, skills, start date and organizational needs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create models using CAD.
- Check and correct product models.
- Interpret designs from the style office, taking into account construction methods and applied materials.
- Follow the development of leather goods prototypes.
- Collaborate with the product development and prototyping teams to gather the information needed to make each product.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the same role is required.
- Good knowledge of the product development process.
- Excellent knowledge of Aimpes CAD.
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of luxury.
