Role & Responsibilities
- Execute physical and chemical testing on raw materials and finished leather goods and accessories according to established protocols.
- Record, analyse and report test results; maintain accurate laboratory documentation and traceability of samples.
- Identify and follow up on non-conformities, driving corrective actions with production and quality teams.
- Coordinate and manage relationships with external testing laboratories and oversee outsourced testing activities.
- Support preventive quality activities and risk assessments for new products and development projects to ensure compliance with internal standards.
Qualifications
- Scientific or management degree (e.g., chemistry, materials science, engineering, industrial management) or equivalent qualification.
- Strong numerical aptitude with the ability to interpret and present test data clearly.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail in handling test programs and documentation.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and liaising with external partners.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
