Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the industrialization process for women’s ready‑to‑wear garments from prototype to production, ensuring adherence to style specifications and company standards.
  • Evaluate prototypes and fittings to optimise manufacturability, fit, production cycles and cost efficiency; recommend appropriate sewing and construction techniques.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including Di.Ba (bills of materials) and technical data sheets, and translate patterns into accurate production instructions.
  • Coordinate with external suppliers to monitor workmanship and verify component and processing specifications against Distinte Base.
  • Participate in quality control and fitting sessions to ensure final garments meet defined quality and fit standards.
  • Collaborate with style and product development teams on material selection, new technologies and sustainable packaging solutions that protect product integrity and brand image.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in garment industrialization, product development, or equivalent role within structured fashion or luxury apparel environments.
  • Proven knowledge of garment construction techniques, fabrics and raw materials, and the ability to author technical spec sheets and production cycles.
  • Experience working with suppliers and managing quality controls across outsourcing partners.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility to operate in a dynamic environment and manage variable workloads; ability to collaborate across commercial and development functions.
