Fendi — Rome: General Accounting & Reporting Specialist (Hybrid). Permanent full-time role supporting month-end close, IFRS reporting and SAP S/4HANA.
Role & Responsibilities
- Finalise annual statutory financial statements for Italian entities, including the Holding Company.
- Manage month-end closing processes, prepare and analyse the Trial Balance, and deliver IFRS reporting for Italian entities.
- Participate in the annual budgeting cycle and interim forecasting for Italian entities.
- Provide support for corporate tax computation, compliance activities and applications for state incentives.
- Collaborate with Treasury on cash flow management and prepare audit work papers for year-end audits.
- Support general accounting processes and the Fixed Assets WW Core Model, including coordination with other Group companies.
- Contribute to drafting and enforcing accounting policies and compliance procedures.
- Assist management with due diligence, finance special projects and the integration of sustainability metrics into financial reporting.
- Manage communication flows and corporate activities with subsidiaries.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3 years (ideally 3–5 years) of relevant accounting and reporting experience, preferably within an international group and luxury retail.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Proven proficiency with SAP S/4HANA and PowerBI.
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to meet tight month-end deadlines.
- Effective team player with good communication skills and experience liaising with subsidiaries and auditors.

Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in general accounting and financial reporting; experience within an international corporate environment or luxury retail is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
