Based at Fendi’s headquarters in Rome, the Front-End Developer joins the Global Graphic & Digital team within the Communication Department and reports to the Communication Graphic Manager. The role develops and optimizes fendi.com, apps, landing pages and digital touchpoints, supporting web accessibility and collaborating with UX/UI, eCommerce, Media & Analytics teams and external partners; it is a permanent, full-time position under the CCNL Commercio, with a gross annual salary of EUR 35,000.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new features for fendi.com using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
- Work with Web and UX/UI Designers to create landing pages and update existing pages.
- Help deliver seamless, high-quality, user-friendly customer journeys across the website.
- Support the development of web and mobile user interfaces and interactive applications for the Maison.
- Monitor website quality through testing, maintenance, bug tracking and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the Media & Analytics team to execute the CRO roadmap, coordinating with external development agencies when needed.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements to the eCommerce ecosystem to enhance performance, usability and operational efficiency.
- Support A/B testing and UX optimization initiatives.
- Support the management and implementation of website accessibility requirements and best practices, in coordination with the manager.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, business teams and external vendors to ensure timely, high-quality execution.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in Front-End Development.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
- Experience with Vue.js.
- Good knowledge of CMS and eCommerce platforms; experience with CoreMedia and Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with FreeMarker and JavaScript-based templating frameworks is a plus.
- Advanced CSS skills and a passion for writing clean, scalable and testable code.
- Basic understanding of Google Tag Manager and support for A/B testing and UX optimization activities.
- Basic knowledge of UX principles and prototyping tools, especially Figma.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS for newsletter creation.
- Basic knowledge of digital accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA; Notion is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating external vendors and agencies.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a team-player attitude.
- Results-oriented, organized, and able to work to tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English.
