Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Product Development Shoes Team in preparing and monitoring development of semi-finished products and accessories according to seasonal deadlines.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (technical, sourcing, design) and external suppliers under mentor supervision to track and approve samples at each stage.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM), seasonal specifications and tech packs, and ensure accurate organization of style files and the sample library.
  • Monitor prototype and sample delivery dates, update the critical path, and highlight potential risks that may affect sample schedules.
  • Support supplier relationship management and follow up on quality control activities as instructed.
  • Identify and help implement sustainable practices within the product development process to reduce environmental impact and promote ethical sourcing.

Qualifications

  • University degree (or final-year student) in fashion, footwear engineering, industrial design or a related discipline.
  • Foundational knowledge of the product cycle, product development timelines and project management principles.
  • Understanding of shoe engineering and manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, notably Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and collaborative skills; ability to work under mentor supervision.
