Fendi seeks a Field Trainer in Paris to coach retail teams across France, UK & Switzerland.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct proactive, on‑floor training needs analyses and deliver immediate, actionable coaching to sales teams and store managers during live retail operations.
- Design and deliver comprehensive induction programmes for new joiners that integrate hands‑on training directly on the sales floor.
- Plan, schedule and execute regular training and coaching activities tailored to the cultural and commercial specifics of France, Switzerland and the UK.
- Prepare, adapt and continuously improve training materials and workshops, including customer journey and product knowledge modules.
- Monitor, collect and report on training attendance, coaching history and key KPIs; provide field feedback and corrective action plans to the Retail Training Director Europe and Retail Directors.
- Provide sustained post‑training support on the floor to reinforce behaviours and ensure knowledge transfer into daily sales performance.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Store Managers and Retail Managers to identify talent and recommend tailored development pathways.
- Support logistical and administrative aspects of the training function and assist in monitoring training budget allocation.
Qualifications
- Minimum five years’ experience in fashion or luxury retail, with demonstrable in‑store and field training or coaching exposure.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Proven selling ability and excellent communication skills with strong client engagement acumen.
- Professional presence and ability to manage personal image to brand standards.
- Highly organized, autonomous and comfortable operating in fast‑paced retail environments.
- Fluent English; proficiency in Italian is an advantage.
