FENDI seeks a Fashion Expert in New York — full‑time boutique role delivering personalised luxury client experiences and driving sales excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a bespoke, high‑touch client experience that communicates FENDI’s creativity, heritage and product innovation.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets while contributing to overall store performance and KPI tracking.
- Develop and nurture a personal client portfolio through proactive outreach, thoughtful follow‑up and strategic use of clienteling tools.
- Act as a brand ambassador by styling clients, telling the Maison story, and embodying FENDI’s aesthetic and service standards.
- Maintain up‑to‑date product, craftsmanship and collection knowledge and monitor the competitive and market landscape.
- Manage client requests and after‑sales processes, including bespoke orders, repairs and care with accuracy and discretion.
- Support boutique operations: use POS and digital tools accurately, support stock management, opening/closing procedures and visual standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues and Visual Merchandising to uphold impeccable boutique presentation and contribute to team onboarding and development.
Qualifications
- Entry‑level candidate with a strong interest in luxury fashion and client service; retail experience is an advantage.
- Proven ability to build authentic, long‑term client relationships and deliver personalised service.
- Excellent verbal communication, polished presentation and high emotional intelligence.
- Results‑oriented mindset with ownership of sales objectives and operational responsibilities.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays; multilingual proficiency is a plus.
- Comfortable with digital workflows and able to adopt POS and clienteling systems quickly.

Experience
Entry‑level (beginner). Candidates may be recent hires or possess limited retail/luxury sales experience; prior boutique experience or internships in luxury retail is advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion or hospitality preferred.
