Fendi seeks Department Manager for Women's category at Costa Mesa, CA location. Lead team, drive sales, manage inventory, and deliver luxury client experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Client Advisors, ensuring delivery of the Fendi Client Journey to every customer interaction
  • Set individual and team sales targets; assess performance against expectations and provide constructive feedback
  • Identify and recruit talent, establish succession plans in collaboration with the Store Manager, and implement development plans for high-potential team members
  • Drive sales growth within the women's category and across the store through strategic client engagement and relationship building
  • Establish a client-centric store mentality and communicate corporate strategy through morning briefings, training, and team engagement
  • Develop and implement action plans to boost business performance using visual merchandising, clienteling tools, and staff development
  • Act as a sales role model, demonstrating clienteling leadership and supporting the team in cross-selling and client retention initiatives
  • Build and develop a personal client portfolio while mentoring team members in client relationship management
  • Manage inventory of product categories, ensuring accurate stock levels and alignment with sales objectives
  • Oversee sales floor management and client hosting to maximize business opportunities and client experience
  • Ensure Fendi policies, standards, and procedures are communicated and consistently implemented
  • Collaborate on visual merchandising strategy and floor rotations, maintaining visual standards throughout the day
  • Support Store Manager in staff scheduling to optimize labor alignment with traffic patterns and sales goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in luxury retail
  • Proven track record in ready-to-wear (RTW) category
  • Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management functions
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to lift and handle boxes/weight up to 10 lbs
  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
